One downside is that you may need to restart your browser after you switch between the Krisp standalone app's audio input and your built-in audio input, especially on Linux systems. Krisp works well both as a standalone app and as part of Discord. I've joined meetings with noisy vehicles or dogs that made it hard to hear the meeting but no one complained about my background noise.

The ability to automatically remove background noise and enhance the speaker's voice is definitely appealing, especially for those of us who have had to deal with distracting sounds during video calls. I also appreciate the feature that allows you to transcribe the meeting in real-time, which could be helpful for keeping track of important points and action items.

Krisp is easy to set up and use and really performing. the addition of transcripts now makes it even more useful.

Hi there! Congrats on the release! A couple of questions: 1. Does it record the meeting from my side if I'm on mute? Meaning, if I say smth while on mute - will be in the transcription as well (I guess not)? 2. How resources on average does app consume?

I believe this can fundamentally change the business for many research agencies that have dedicated people during the interview/research calls on site to take notes. I've just started using them and the quality of the noise cancelation is impressive. Their free plan is already quite generous and pricing seems fair for this quality of clarity. I'm just starting out so will come back with a review later.
