I’ll start out by saying I previously wasn’t much of a fan of fitness apps. I’ve been working out fairly consistently for about 5 years now so I know what exercises I do and preferred keeping track of it on my notes app. I’ve used Kovo throughout the beta and now have 10 workouts logged post-beta and it really has come a long way.
For starters it’s incredibly beginner friendly. Each workout has a short clip of how it’s done along with tips and tricks. And if you don’t know what exercises to do, it gives you a plan based on your preferences and goals. It’s quite intuitive as well as easy to log and track workouts to reach new PRs and goals.
Kovo is also really fun compared to other fitness apps. Joining a gym allows you to chat with other users and see what they’re up to. There have been multiple days where I haven’t felt like working out but the “Leagues” tab is what brings me in the gym those days. It’s a fun aspect climbing the ranks based on the XP you achieve from workouts to get ahead of your friends.
The devs are always listening to the feedback from the community which isn’t always the case and are constantly rolling out updates. All around a great app with a great community, and really fun to use.
