KOTrol is a cat health tracker that builds a clear health history from daily care. Log symptoms, appetite, litter box habits, medications, weight and daily observations in seconds. Over time, those entries build a clear picture of what’s normal, what changed and when. Before a vet visit, KOTrol turns that history into a clear, ready-to-share report - even on the free plan.

Hi Product Hunt! I’m Martyna, the solo maker behind KOTrol 👋
KOTrol started with one cat: Bella.
She came into my life by accident and quickly proved to be the kind of cat who keeps her human on her toes 😅 She would vomit, cough, and have other symptoms that seemed to come and go. I tried to remember everything, but “I think it was a few days ago” and “she seems worse” weren’t exactly useful answers at the vet.
The turning point was one very simple question:
“Since when?”
I couldn’t answer.
I knew Bella better than anyone. But between stress, everyday life, and notes scattered across different places, the details kept slipping away. That feeling of helplessness is why I built KOTrol.
At first, it was just for me: one place to quickly record what happened and stop relying on memory. Today, I’m no longer building it from my experience alone. Cat guardians test KOTrol in their homes, while feline behaviorists and veterinary professionals help me focus on the details that genuinely matter.
KOTrol now helps you:
* log symptoms, appetite, litter box habits, weight, and medications in seconds
* spot patterns and see what changed and when
* keep medical records in one place and generate a free vet report
* share care and see who gave each dose
The idea is still simple: cats can’t tell us what changed. A clear history can.
I’d genuinely love your honest feedback on KOTrol. And if you live with a cat, what’s the one question you never seem able to answer at the vet?
And now for the equally important Product Hunt question: should Bella, the book-reading cat, stay as KOTrol’s official guide? 😅
This is actually really useful. I’ve had the exact "when did this start?" moment at the vet and had absolutely no idea.
Keeping symptoms, medication and notes in one place, especially when more than one person takes care of the pet, just makes sense.
Congrats on the launch, Martyna. Also, Bella is perfect for this 😄
Btw, can you add more than one cat in the app?

@jeandesuis Thank you so much! That exact “when did this start?” moment is basically the reason KOTrol exists, so hearing that you’ve been there too and immediately get the point means a lot 🥹
And yes! The free plan includes one cat, while Premium lets you add as many cats as you need, each with their own profile and health history. You can also share care with another person and see who logged an update or gave a medication dose, because with multiple cats and multiple humans, memory becomes a very unreliable team member 😅
And Bella says thank you. She already believes she’s the real founder anyway 😂
Love the direction behind KOTrol. “Your cat’s health radar - see what changed and when” feels like a thoughtful problem to solve—congratulations on the launch! 🚀
