Kotobato – Word Battle RPG: The word puzzle RPG where your vocabulary is your weapon

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm a solo developer based in Japan, and I've been building Kotobato for 2+ years. The idea came from wanting to combine my love of word games (Scrabble, Wordle) with classic RPG mechanics. The core loop: you swipe connected letters on a board to form words — those words become attacks. Longer and rarer words deal more damage. Words are categorized into 6 elements (Animal, Nature, Knowledge, Food, Life, Fantasy), so there's strategy in which words you build. What makes it different: • Works in both Japanese (hiragana) and English letter modes • 100-floor tower with historical Japanese figures as bosses • Co-op multiplayer so you can spell words together with friends Honest question I'm wrestling with: Is the "words = attacks" concept immediately intuitive, or does it need better onboarding?
