This reminds me of businesses that sell "Name a Star" type of stuff. Beautifully, executed but in the end you are selling air unless there is some sort of legal way to protect your color against use which seems impossible unless you are T-Mobile lol...

This is a brilliant idea! I love that the site is so easy to use. i like that the backgrounds are shades of grey. I bought BDD387 because it's our branding color. Looking forward to seeing this taking off

Kolormark contacted me and gave me a code through e-mail based on my instagram following. IT worked, the website is pretty neat. Overall, not sure what the point is, but its fun. If you guys want a free color to pick, you can use my code : 68QEKW

Charging a buck is a great way to ensure that only people who are passionate about the mission participate in the project. Essentially, we believe it's a very effective way to keep Kolormark spammer free without having to set up very complicated review processes. We do share coupon codes with communities we trust - you all here at PH can use PRODUCTHUNT to name a color for free. If you have FB groups or other communities that cares about the mission, please contact us and we will set you up with coupon!
