Kolmos is an explanation-first database engine written in Rust that unifies MongoDB (:27018), PostgreSQL (:5433), and MySQL (:3306) wire protocols. It delivers zero-RAM-bloat secondary indexing with 1.6x–2.1x better columnar compression than Parquet-zstd, storing directly to Cloudflare R2 at 90% lower cloud storage cost.
