Congratulations on the launch! Could you tell me, previously, there was Jabber (secure, with its own server). However, it turned out to be less secure in the end (MIM). How about your security measures?
Amie Luo
@kostyadoronin Thank you for the congratulations and for bringing up a great point! Jabber, indeed, used XMPP technology which is over a decade old. KoiHi, on the other hand, utilizes entirely different, more advanced technology. XMPP, being an open-source IM solution that relies on XML as its transport protocol, has a lower data payload efficiency and is not well-suited for mobile internet applications. It's more of a solution from the PC era and has limitations in the context of modern security needs. At KoiHi, we've focused on integrating the latest in encryption and security technologies. Our platform is designed specifically for the mobile internet age, ensuring high efficiency and stronger security measures, like end-to-end encryption and self-hosted servers, to safeguard against vulnerabilities like Man-In-The-Middle (MIM) attacks. We're committed to continually updating our technology to address evolving security challenges. Your security and privacy are our top priority, and we're here to provide a robust, secure communication solution tailored for today's needs.

@amie_luo thank you for sharing and revealing my question
Fedrico
Congratulations on the launch! Can we use it Internally for our Company?
Amie Luo
@fedrico23 Absolutely! With KoiHi, you can deploy and use it wherever you desire. Just plug in the Ethernet cable and power it up, and the entire system will go live, allowing all users to communicate normally. In case of an emergency where you need to take all users offline quickly, simply unplugging the Ethernet cable or using the one-click data destruction feature will do the trick. This ensures both ease of use and the flexibility to respond rapidly to any situation.
