Kodo

Kodo started because I kept running into the same problem while building games and content. I needed high quality anime art and animation that felt consistent, fast, and customizable, and nothing on the market could deliver that reliably. Models were either too generic, too slow, or too unpredictable. I wanted a tool that creators, teams, and agents could plug directly into their workflow and trust every time. The process evolved naturally. At first, I was experimenting with training small LoRAs for Variance and testing different pipelines. Then I realized the bigger opportunity. If I built a unified toolkit with strong base models, fast inference, easy customization, and a Remix system, I could solve the pain I was feeling and also unlock a new creative layer for thousands of others. As I worked, the vision shifted from “make better images for our game” to “build the anime engine that powers content across the internet.” That is really the core of Kodo. It came from trying to solve my own production bottlenecks and grew into a platform that gives anyone the ability to create high quality anime images and animations at scale.
