I'm John Purkiss, the co-author of ‘Brand You’, the best selling book on personal branding. Our readers asked us for an app, so here it is. We call it ‘KnowMe’ because it will enable you (a) to discover who you are, and (b) to find out how other people see you. It does this using 12 archetypes. First of all you select from the 12 archetype cards.(Tinder-style) Then you rank them in the order in which you believe they apply to you. The second step enables you to invite your friends and other KnowMe users to select and rank the archetypes they see in you. The app then produces a bar chart which compares your ranking of your archetypes with other people’s ranking of the archetypes they see in you. KnowMe is great for self-discovery, team building and professional development.
