This looks really clever, like a hardware version of IFTTT's DO button. You mount this to any surface in your home (via bracket or adhesive), and it senses different tap patterns as triggers.

Smart add-ons to current, dumb infrastructure are such a huge area of opportunity but as Rotem points out it's a challenge to use them until there's a logical layer for all connected home operations.
