Introducing Kizie, a new way to browse Twitter 🐤 ✨ cleaner, better, ad-free home and profile timelines ⚡️ pro features to do more with twitter(read first comment for the list 👇) 📱 works on web and as PWA 👉 try it: https://kizie.co
@charlieed49 Thanks Charles, by default the feed is in chronological order only. Latest tweets show up first :)
Report
@qaplen yes but it is so confusing with replies and retweet... The perfect thing would be to have only the original posts only and this confusing sorting :
@charlieed49 The sorting is by latest tweet only, the Non 25 and Dec 5 tweet are basically RTs, would an option to disable showing replies and RTs in home feed work for you?
Report
@qaplen Exactly because I love fresh new. And a notification when I mark "follow this thread" to see the new content in the thread I want to watch would be perfect ;)
Hello makers! I'm Rishi(https://twitter.com/thelifeofrishi) and have been working on Kizie with a mission to make a cleaner, better way to browse Twitter.
The goal is to have all of what Twitter has, but with more power-packed features like Quick Preview for Videos, GIFs and Photos, Reader mode for links in the tweets so you can read the article in pleasant interface.
⭐️ With Kizie, you can:
- post tweets, threads and preview them before posting
- save draft tweets and ideas to revisit later
- view your twitter timelines, profile, user's profile and everything you can on Twitter
- get in-app and browser notifications for new mentions
- navigate, search Tweets, Users and Spaces with Cmd+K shortcut
- view who liked your tweets, your followers, people you follow etc.
- kizie is everything(almost) that's in Twitter has, minus the ads 😉
🚀 Pro features which are also free:
- with Twitter you have to open an Image/Video/GIF to see it in full aspect ratio, with Kizie you just hover on the media and it'll be previewed in full size, with this Quick Media Preview feature you can preview Videos and GIFs right on your timeline without any clicks
- you can read links with blog posts, article right in your timeline with just a click, Kizie has a minimal reader mode for links which works has both light and dark themes
- you can save links from tweets in your account to read or revisit later
- view your Tweet Analytics, stats like Impressions, Profile views from your tweets, Links clicked in your tweets and more
- and there are more, give it a try and I'm sure you'll love the refresh
Kizie also has tools like Tweet to Image(free, https://kizie.co/tools/twitter-i...) and Twitter Media Downloader(free, https://kizie.co/tools/twitter-d...). This is so users can generate tweets as images(with ability to customize the image) and download videos/GIFs/photos from tweet right in the app itself. These are standalone as well as coupled feature in Kizie.
⚡️ Kizie Pro($5.99 a month):
Kizie is free with limits(you can check the limits here https://kizie.co/pro). Kizie Pro unlocks all the limits and gives you access to new features to better your Twitter experience.
👨💻 Future:
I as a indie-developer am totally committed to listen to Kizie users and bring their feedbacks to the app. In coming months I'll be continuously working on adding some planned features like a writer mode for tweeting etc. and app's stability.
I've been working hard on weekends to make it all a good experience and since I'm working single-handedly, Kizie is prone to some bugs and issue. So if you encounter any bug or have any suggestion then please feel free to DM me at https://twitter.com/thelifeofrishi.
@chrismessina Thanks Chris, it's a custom component I wrote for Kizie since the interface also acts as a search for Tweets, Users and Spaces, planning to extend it even further, glad you liked it :)

This is so amazing! It looks very good and it's very fluent - Some minor issues; CTRL + K to search doesn't work on Windows (even though Cmd + K works on Mac I think), it can be slow at times, search didn't give up any results for me and the Premium version is a little too expensive. 6 a month. I'd be fine with something like 4 a month, not 6.
@partydoos Thanks Partydoos :), I'll fix the issue, don't have windows machine with me right now 😅. I've been experimenting with pricing recently and increased it to $5.99, earlier it was $3.99, let me know if you want upgrade and maybe I can give you some off :)
Also if you have feedback/more bug encounters then feel free to DM me https://twitter.com/@thelifeofrishi, would really appreciate it!
@partydoos Hi, the Ctrl+K issue should be fixed now, please check and let me know, I'm working on the performance issue :)
Report
@qaplen Hi! It partially works, it looks like the standard browser CTRL + K search hasn't been disabled yet, creating this : https://imgur.com/a/tY525SN
@partydoos Ah that's weird, sorry I don't have windows machine. So does this browser highlights the address bar for both Alt+K and Ctrl+K? Because both of these shortcuts should trigger the search, if these both also trigger the browser address bar then we'll have to go with some other keys, send help :D
Report
@qaplen Only CTRL + K highlights the address bar and starts a search, however, I know there is a way to disable CTRL + K to open the search bar on websites, for example, on dev.sakuta.app/search I can use CTRL + K fine, without the browser opening its search.
Love it, especially the convert tweet to image feature. Is it possible to a) choose a background that is not a gradient/ hex code color and b) embed the image somewhere? :)
@jpdavidpeters Thanks Jan, right now there's no transparent background option or embed feature, I am taking these as feedback and have added it to my todos. Expect these two to be live in coming weekend :)
Are there any plans to allow swapping between Twitter accounts? It would be really cool to be able to swap between my personal account and my project accounts.
But looks really pretty and clean! Would really like an option to just buy a year of pro or something and not have to sign up for a subscription but going to give it a shot!
@zwlovoy Hi Zac, multiple Twitter accounts is in the roadmap and will probably land as a Pro feature, I'll bump up the priority for it :), thanks for the kind words
I never thought someone would want to get a year long subscription so never thought of adding it 😅, I'll prioritise working on the features for now including the one you suggested, might add yearly subscription later, thanks for the support! Let me know if you run into any issues or have any feedback to share.

I've tried this.
The UI design is just as horrible as Twitter's - take Timeline, for example - it's literally a carbon copy of the design of the Twitter Timeline, with all of its problems.
And while it has significantly less JavaScript, which is a big plus, it somehow manages to work slower.
I'm sorry, but I can't recommend this product to anyone.
@eremenko Hi Yarik, I'll take this as feedback. I did my best and it's been couple of iterations to come up to this layout and design, definitely not the best. It's slower, yes and I'm working on it. Twitter API is slightly harder to deal with, I'll try my best on your feedback and maybe when you'll use Kizie the next time it'll be faster, better and upto your expectations :)
Unfortunately it seems like none of the images or videos load when on a browser with more strict tracking protection - tested on Edge and Firefox with "Strict" mode enabled. Sadly, this makes it a no-no for me as I only browse with tracking protection enabled :(
@matt_fantinel1 Hi Matt, you're right and that's a known issue. All third-party apps that use Twitter API face this issue due to the way Strict mode works. I'll see if something can be done to fix this :)
