Each playback writes a structured record — LUFS, True Peak, Crest, Zwicker loudness (N, sones), Sharpness, PSR, LRA, and PLR. Everything is bundled with the audio's provenance into a tamper-evident kirin file, so the measurement travels with the sound. No guessing. No processing. No server. I'm Daisuke. I made Kirin OS as a music creator who needed to understand what my processing chain was actually doing to the sound.
Hypha (free VST3) sits in your DAW and writes a structured record — PRE and POST — every time you play back. That record includes LUFS, True Peak, Zwicker loudness, Sharpness, and more. Kirin OS reads those records and bundles them together with your audio into a single .kirin file — tamper-evident, so if the contents change, the package shows it.
The idea is simple: the measurement travels with the sound.
Hypha is free and GPLv3. Kirin OS and Kirin Sense launch June 6th.
