KIOMEET secures the whole technical hiring loop — live interviews and assessments — in one native app. It blocks AI overlays and screen capture by owning the OS, without root access or snooping the candidate's machine. Request early access.

Hey Product Hunt community! 👋
I'm the founder of KIOMEET, and I am incredibly excited (and a little nervous!) to share what we've been working on.
The Problem:
Let’s be honest—technical interviews are painful for everyone involved. If you're a candidate, you’re usually juggling a laggy video call on one screen and a browser-based code editor on another. If you're a company trying to protect your interview integrity, you're often forced to use aggressive, creepy proctoring tools that act like malware and alienate top-tier engineering talent.
The Solution:
We are building Kiomeet to fix this. It’s a lightweight, native desktop application that merges fluid video communication directly with a structured coding assessment.
We call it a "soft kiosk." By operating in the user space, we successfully block standard recording and sharing tools (like OBS, Loom, and Discord) to prevent leaks, but we completely skip the privacy-invasive kernel-level drivers that make developers uncomfortable.
Why we are here today:
The main software is currently deep in development, but we have just scheduled our interactive website to go live! It demonstrates exactly how the platform operates, how the security layer functions, and how we keep the developer experience seamless.
We are currently opening up slots for our early access waitlist, but more importantly, I need your brains.
Before we ship the final code, I want this community to brutally critique our approach.
Does a "soft kiosk" strike the right balance of security and candidate privacy for your engineering team?
What is your absolute biggest pet peeve when conducting or taking a technical interview?
I’ll be here all day replying to your comments, questions, and roasts. Thank you so much for checking us out and supporting early-stage ideas! 🛠️
