Hi KinMate team,
First of all, thank you for building a privacy-first family health record app. I really like the local-first approach.
I would like to suggest a feature that I believe would be valuable for many families.
Instead of simply storing PDFs or photos, it would be incredibly useful if KinMate could automatically extract important information from medical documents, such as:
Snapped a stack of vet receipts into it and the AI actually sorted them by pet name on its own, which surprised me. The local-first angle is what sold me though, feels good knowing our family records stay on device.
@yakuptortΒ Thank you for your recognition. If anyone encounters any issues during use, please feel free to contact me.
Love how the local-first approach actually shows you care about family privacy rather than just saying it. Snapping a doc and having AI sort it by person or pet is such a thoughtful touch for keeping everything straight between kids, parents, and animals.
@vmanalp59205Β Thank you! That really means a lot. One of the reasons I built KinMate was because I was tired of family records being scattered across photos, PDFs, hospital apps, and paper folders. If AI can quietly organize everything while your data stays on your own device, then I feel we've built something worthwhile. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
