Hey, I'm Shakel, a cybersecurity practitioner who's spent more than 20 years in the industry. I built King of Cybersecurity as a joke for my own entertainment. Somewhere along the way I fell back to my default, happens all the time and I want to share lessons learned. Cybersecurity has an unfortunate habit of making fascinating subjects painfully boring. So I tried something different. King of Cybersecurity is an interconnected fictional kingdom where real cybersecurity problems are explained through illustrated satire. The threats and security lessons are real. The King, thankfully, is not. There are currently 14 Chronicles covering everything from phishing and ransomware to AI agents and threat-actor naming, plus original cybersecurity memes and the Royal Armoury, free, reusable security-awareness resources for presentations, classrooms and newsletters. It's completely free, and I'm experimenting with where the concept can go. I'd particularly love some feedback: Is this a vibe-coding weekend gone wrong, or does this actually have legs? 👑
