Love the daily small match idea and the text-only privacy angle, feels much calmer than the usual swipe chaos. One thing I'd love to see is a "dealbreaker" toggle during onboarding (like monogamous vs open, or sober-curious vs not) so the daily set filters those out automatically instead of finding out three prompts in. Would save a lot of mismatched intros for everyone.
@raziyepplf Thank you 🧡 — and you're partway there already: relationship style (monogamous / open / poly) is a real matching input, so those mismatches get filtered before anyone hits your set. Broader lifestyle dealbreakers like sober-curious aren't a toggle yet — hard filters are powerful but easy to over-narrow, so I've been cautious. But you've made a strong case for letting people opt into a few. Noting it properly.
@raziyepplf Following up honestly, because my earlier reply was ahead of the code. I said structure mismatches "get filtered before anyone hits your set" — at the time it was only weighted in the ranking, not filtered. An incompatible structure sank down your set rather than leaving it, which is not the same thing and isn't what you asked for. My mistake for describing it as done. It is now: relationship structure is a real opt-in filter in discovery — monogamous, open, ENM, polyamorous, solo poly, relationship anarchy, still figuring it out. Pick any and the rest are excluded outright, not just downranked. One deliberate carve-out: people who have not answered the question are never filtered out. A blank answer isn't a different answer, and "still working it out" is a real place to be. On the broader lifestyle dealbreakers like sober-curious: still not a field, and I want to be straight that I'm hesitant rather than just slow. Every hard filter you add shrinks a set that is already small on purpose, and the people who get quietly excluded never find out. Structure earned it because it is a genuine incompatibility rather than a preference. I'm less sure sober-curious is the same kind of thing. Open to being argued out of that. Thank you for the push — you were right that finding out three prompts in is a bad experience, and it moved this to the top of the list.
Love the anti-swipe vibe and the privacy setup. One thing I'd suggest: let us pin or favorite a profile we're not quite ready to match with yet. Sometimes I want to come back to someone a day or two later, and right now I'd worry they'd vanish from my daily set.

The prompts-first approach is really refreshing, but a small thing would help: a shared "looking for" field that's visible on profiles so you can instantly see whether someone's after dating, friendship or something more casual. Saves a lot of guessing when the prompts are playful and the intent is left implicit.
@ratkca43150 This is exactly how Kindrd already works 🙌 Every profile shows the person's relationship style + what they're hoping for right on the card — so intent is visible before a word is exchanged, no guessing from the prompts. You've homed in on something I care a lot about.
love the prompts-over-photos angle, feels way more real than the swipe grind. one thing that would actually help me as a user though: a "pause" option for your profile. like if i'm traveling or just not in a headspace to chat, i can hide from the daily set for a week or two without losing my matches or having to delete the app. would make it feel a lot less pressured honestly
@sema1l0d You just described a feature that's already in there 💛 It's called "Take a break" in Settings — you vanish from everyone's daily set, keep all your matches and chats, and flip back on whenever you like. There's also a lighter "discreet mode" if you'd rather browse and reach out first without showing up in sets. Exactly the no-pressure thing you're after.
The "per-field identity hiding" is a great idea, but I'd love a way to control who sees what beyond just a blanket hide — maybe let me share being trans with people who also identify as trans, but keep it private from others. Gives more nuance than one toggle per field.

Right now it's per-field hiding plus a visibility audience for who can see you at all — but field-level conditional sharing, like "show I'm trans only to others who are," isn't there yet.
