I built Kindle Capture because I was frustrated with not being able to search through my Kindle books on my computer or read them offline without the Kindle app. I wanted a simple way to convert my purchased books into searchable PDFs that I could annotate, search, and organize however I wanted. The tool uses Playwright to automate Kindle Cloud Reader, captures each page as a high-res screenshot, and then applies OCR to create a fully searchable text layer. It's entirely screenshot-based — no DRM removal or file hacking. I'd love to hear your feedback and what features you'd find most useful!
