KidScreen turns selected YouTube videos into a private shelf for your child. Parents add only the videos they approve; children get a simple screen with no search or endless feed. It is free, with separate profiles and device sign-in for each child.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 KidScreen started as a small product I built for my own family. I wanted my child to watch specific YouTube videos without having to navigate search or an endless feed. So I created a simple video shelf where parents choose every video themselves, while each child gets a separate screen and their own device login. This is the first public version. KidScreen is completely free, registration is open to everyone, and I’ll continue developing it publicly if families find it useful. I created both child profiles from my parent account. Each daughter has her own iPad and signs in once to her own KidScreen Web App.

From the parent dashboard, I add nature documentaries, educational videos, and anything else I want to share. Each child sees only the videos on her own shelf.

This gives me a simple way to share YouTube content with them without giving them search, an endless feed, or letting an algorithm decide what they watch next.
