KidBugz helps anyone who interacts with kids provide guidance and support to them in a unique way. Much like a ticket tracking system for software, the application is a ticket tracker that makes it easy to align with kids on where they should focus their attention. The end result is simple: a single score that tells kids how they are doing when it comes to focusing on the right things as well as lots of opportunities for meaningful conversations.
Hello, world! (Or more accurately, hi, small handful of folks who might read this comment!)
My partner and I created this web app as a unique way to interact with each other, and while we use it as such, we were quickly told by others that the app could potentially be effective as a way for parents and guardians to interact with the kids they parent and/or, well, guard, I guess. So, we changed the creative direction of the project, and the app was reborn as KidBugz.
Speaking of the creative direction, all of the art on the website and in the app (kids can collect fun, colorful stickers) is hand drawn by my partner (AI, schmAI). While she does that, I bring the jokey nature of the whole thing to the table. So, in other words, she does all the heavy lifting.
