Hey @elliotb! Overall Looks like a really cool product. But quick question: Wouldn't this make it fairly easy for people to take other people's RFID? I don't have any clue on the current security measures. But I could definitely see a ton of use cases! 😊

@as_austin - Thanks for the question Austin. The truth is the majority of RFID used in building access control don't have any security whatsoever. You can think of them as electronic serial numbers. This is what enables Keysy to work without having to break any encryption. During the 'learning' process Keysy needs to be side-by-side with the key card or key fob for about 5 seconds. So while possible that someone could use Keysy for nefarious purposes I think it would be difficult in practice unless they had unsupervised access to the key card. Also, the assets that these key cards/key fobs protect are typically low value, shared access spaces like lobbies, pools, garages, etc. In all these cases it is probably easier for an 'attacker' to tailgate in behind a valid user that to go to the trouble of cloning their credentials. Hope this answers your question.

Hey guys, just released this new product on kickstarter that allows you to duplicate low frequency RFID credentials typically used in apartment buildings, offices, garages, etc. Looking to get your honest opinion of the product and/or potential use cases you can think of. If anyone has any questions fire away :) Thank you!
