Give everyday typing a new sound. Keysuit is a Mac menu bar app with 10 sound themes, local keystroke stats, an activity calendar and gentle break reminders. Preview the sounds in your browser, then try the free public beta for macOS 13+. No account or internet connection is needed in the app, and typed characters aren't recorded. The beta is not yet Apple-notarized.

Hi Product Hunt! Meet Keysuit, a small Mac menu bar app that adds a little sound to everyday typing.
Try the sounds in your browser first: https://keysuit.app/
The public beta includes:
- Ten sound themes: four synthesized keyboard profiles and six experimental themes.
- Local keystroke totals, a daily activity calendar, ranks and a shareable daily recap.
- Theme-based system sounds, volume controls and temporary mute.
- Optional break reminders.
The app has no account or server connection. It stores aggregate typing stats on your Mac and does not record the characters you type. Input Monitoring permission is required for typing sounds across apps.
A few things to know before installing: this is a free public beta, not a promise of permanent free pricing. It is not yet notarized by Apple, so the first launch needs an extra step. It requires macOS 13 or later and provides a Universal build; Intel Macs and macOS 13 still need real-hardware testing. There is no automatic updater yet.

Which sound would you keep on for a full writing or coding session? If you stop before installing, where do you get stuck? We'd appreciate feedback on sound fatigue, latency and the first-launch experience.
