I'm the maker of KeyBud, music theory app for Mac, iOS, Apple Watch and Apple TV.
As a guitar/keyboard player alongside being a software engineer, I wanted to create the cleanest and most user friendly music theory app.

On both iOS and Mac versions, plug your MIDI instrument, open up your favorite DAW like GarageBand and use KeyBud as a companion app while you are in your comfortable zone.
Set the scales, tonics and modes, see the note orders as well as on the circle of fifths and on the virtual piano.
It supports all basic and main scales and chords now. I'm going to add more with upcoming updates.
Also, I'm working on a fretboard for guitar players right now, so you can see the notes/chords on the fretboard instead of the piano if you want.
