The inspiration behind building KeepYourWord was a personal struggle with following through on commitments made to oneself - not just big goals, but the small daily promises that often slip through the cracks. Many tools exist for habit tracking or tasks, but few focus on the deeper issue of integrity and actually honoring your word consistently. The real problem being solved is recognizing that consistent self-discipline isn’t about motivation or external accountability, but about building self-respect and trust in oneself through visible, honest tracking of day-to-day commitments. The app was designed both as a visual nudge and an accountability partner to help bridge that gap - making it clear when you’re keeping your word, and helping to reinforce the identity of someone who actually does what they say.
