KeepMemo is a free, ad-free Android app for remembering the people who matter: birthdays, stories, photos, voice notes, gifts and plans. Your data stays on your phone by default. No account needed. Optional Google Drive backup.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Marason, a self-taught indie developer, and I built KeepMemo because most apps manage contacts, but none helped me remember people.
The small things fade first: a laugh, the restaurant of a first real conversation, what a friend likes to eat. KeepMemo is where I keep all of that.
What it does:
🎂 Birthday and important-date reminders (anniversaries, memorials, graduations), with Upcoming and Passed tabs
📸 Photo, video, voice and written memories tied to each person
🎁 Gift history, so you never repeat a gift
🌅 "On This Day", which resurfaces an old memory every morning
💌 Plans for moments you want to have, not to-dos, including "someday" dreams
📞 Check-in reminders for people who live far away
✉️ Future Capsules: a private note to your future self that opens on the date you choose
🚶 Memory Walk: a short guided walk through a few saved moments of one person
🖼️ Create a card: turn any photo into a styled card (16 styles) to give or share
📄 Export a person's memories as a PDF
🔒 PIN and biometric lock, plus home screen widgets that hide details when locked
Setting up is easy: add people yourself, or import only the contacts you choose from your address book.
It's free to use, has no ads, needs no account, and works fully offline. Your memories live on your device. There is one optional one-time purchase (Warm Mark) that adds a badge and a private reflection space, and the app doesn't need it.
Backup is optional and under your control: automatic or manual backup to a local file, or sync to your own Google Drive. One honest note: backup files aren't encrypted yet, so please keep them somewhere you trust. Future Capsules stay on the device and aren't included in backups.
It's Android only for now. I'd love your honest feedback: what would make this more useful to you? I'll reply to every comment.
