Every time, the same thought: where does this scan end up, and what stops someone from reusing it? Identity theft is a real, expensive problem, and watermarking your ID with its intended use (e.g. "For HSBC account opening – 12 June") is the simplest deterrent. The catch: almost every "watermark your ID" tool — including the official French government one — uploads your file to a server first. That always felt wrong for a privacy tool. So I built Kavrylo. It does the whole thing in your browser: your document is never sent anywhere, never stored, never seen by us.
