I created Katana XR after living real-world frustrations as a field engineer energy infrastructure mega-projects. The project has a $1B+ budget, but we had to lug around reams of paper checklists, procedures, and drawings (maybe an iPad if your were lucky) to do inspections on equipment, check piping installations, and carry out testing. All I wanted was to have the data I needed, when I needed it, hands free. Now, with Katana, anyone can document a how to from making a protein coffee to changing the oil in their car so they can reference the checklist hands free in augmented reality and share it with others.
