Kapwing failed to import my video clips, refused to place them on the track when I finally got them through after many tries, and generally did not fulfill any of the very straightforward functions that I was seeking. Its spectacular glitchiness is aggravated by singularly grating customer service. "I'm sorry to hear you feel Kapwing wasn't what you were looking for!" Yeah, it sure wasn't—I was looking for something that worked.

I like the interface and found it user friendly. However the fact that it is browser based has given me a lot of headaches. Uploads not working or taking forever. As your videos get more complex, the program can't download them and you need to break them up into chunks. Many times my videos dont download unless I chunk them down into 2 minute increments. For 10-15 minute videos this gets very annoying and time consuming. I'm sad to say I just can't continue using this program, yet I still have many months left in my subscription. But like so many other companies out there, once they get your money, you'll never see it again, even if the product stops working for you. And sure enough, Kapwing will not refund me my remaining subscription months. I'm tired of this. I'm tired of giving away my hard earned money. Because that's essentially what I'm doing. I paid for a video editing program to make my YT videos. But when it takes me 5 times longer to make a video with that program than it does on something like ClipChamp, the product is not what I paid for. Too bad for me though, the money has vanished and can never return.

Completely insufficient for the cost. Freezes, glitches, could not get 1 complete video to export and the owner refused to give me a refund. Do not bother, way better software elsewhere.

Kapwing works so well, fast and so many helpful tools too. Absolutely brilliant!!! I believe that WiFi probably is the reason for any difficulties, I've had my exports done in seconds.

Edit: I'm surprised by the low reviews. The tool is awesome (and I'm not affiliated in any way). Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but it could be some competitors trying to create a stir. 🤔🌟 This tool is awesome! I use it for creating content for my TikTok and YouTube. The AI silence deletion is a lifesaver and saves me a bunch of time. The captions work really well (that's why I chose this tool). Although the text visuals are a bit limited and not super trendy, it's okay. Overall, it gets the job done!

Its a scam. After paying for premium it would not export any videos. Support did not respond to any tickets. The money was just dead. I had to contact Master card to claim Insurance for frude. Keep away from it. It starts OKon free trial but once you paye nothing works.

For free users, you can have only three active projects to work on, only allows files up to 4 minutes in length, only get up to 720p videos, have a fat obnoxious watermark on your videos, ANY PROJECT WILL BE DELETED AUTOMATICALLY AFTER 3 DAYS OF NO EDITING. For paid users… there’s better options for the same price. Performance is terrible, audio testing mid project is terrible, need a good pc for it to actually work. If this review doesn’t stop you from trying knowing out, then you’ll just get frustrated and regret using this website editor anyway… be my guest if you wanna go down that path. Note: most reviews about this website are only relevant as of the last few months since the website has completely changed since then. When I first used it, kapwing was actually good, but recent updates have just made it progressively worse, until it turned to complete trash.
