Living with roommates shouldn't mean arguing over bills, chores, or groceries. Kalesh is a gamified roommate app that helps you manage shared living in one place. Split expenses, assign chores, earn XP, unlock badges, and compete on leaderboards to become the House Boss. Instead of feeling like another boring expense tracker, Kalesh makes everyday roommate tasks more engaging and fun. This is our first public release, and we'd genuinely love your feedback to help shape what's next.

Love the gamification angle, turning chores and bills into XP and badges makes shared living feel way less like a drag. The leaderboard idea is clever, though I wonder how it handles the one roommate who just doesn't care about competing.
@mehmetnecilqbp Thank you! 😄 That's actually something we've thought about as well. Not everyone is naturally competitive, so we're trying to make Kalesh rewarding even if you don't care about the leaderboard. XP, badges, and small achievements are there to make everyday tasks feel a bit more satisfying. Still experimenting and learning from feedback like this!
Looks genuinely fun, love the XP angle for chores. How does the leaderboard actually work when only like two or three people live in a place, does it get weird or boring fast?
@layda9a2e Thanks! 😄 It actually works well with 2–3 roommates since everyone can easily see who's contributing the most around the house. As we grow, we'll keep tweaking the ranking system to make sure it stays fun and doesn't become repetitive. Really appreciate the question!
Roommate dynamics can get tense when payments slip through, so a built-in nudge system that pings whoever owes money after a set deadline (with a playful warning) would save a lot of awkward conversations. Adding optional weekly "house meetings" reminders to settle disputes before they blow up could also be a nice touch.
@bargm8e That's a really good idea! I love the idea of keeping reminders playful instead of awkward. 😄 The "house meeting" reminder is something I hadn't considered, but I can definitely see it helping before small issues turn into bigger ones. Thanks a lot for the feedback. I've noted it down!
the XP and leaderboard idea actually made me want to do my dishes for once, weirdly motivating
@ramazannsokc22 Haha, that's exactly the kind of reaction I was hoping for! 😂 If Kalesh can make doing dishes feel a little less painful, I'd call that a win.
Thanks for checking it out and sharing this!
