Hello Friends, I built JustDocz because of a problem I kept seeing in my father’s legal practice. Over the years, thousands of documents had accumulated across different computers, folders, scanned files, emails and attachments. Often, he could remember a client name, a court, a case type, an amount, or a few words from a document — but not the filename or where it had been saved. Traditional file search was often not enough, especially for scanned documents and older records. That became the starting point for JustDocz. JustDocz is a private document search app for Windows that lets you search by what’s inside your files — including documents, scanned PDFs and images, emails, and attachments. The important part for us was privacy. Legal documents can contain confidential and privileged information, and the same is true for accountants, researchers, businesses, doctors and many others. So JustDocz is designed around local search: your documents stay on your computer rather than being uploaded somewhere just to make them searchable. We have just launched and are still improving the product, so I would genuinely value feedback from this community — especially on search quality, usability, and the kinds of files or workflows you would want supported.
