JunoCity: Where young adults ask questions and seniors tell stories.

I discovered my own lack of connection with senior citizens when I overheard my father call my grandmother with dementia, and heard him repeat over and over, "I have two kids, mom. One 17, the other 10." I had never talked with my grandmother very much at all before, as she lives in a different country, and it had only struck me then the years I could've sought her wisdom and advice, and yet I didn't. "I have two kids, mom. One 17, the other 10." These words were burned in the back of my mind as I typed the first lines of code to start JunoCity. Most especially during a time like this, when anxiety and loneliness are bound to increase, we require a platform where people can ground themselves by learning from the wisdom that the most experienced members of society have to offer. It will give those without grandparents the chance to connect with older generations, and to gain support during difficult moments. If anyone has any stories to tell (no matter big or small), any valuable lessons to teach, any questions to ask, or any advice to give, I encourage you to tell it. It is incredibly valuable to us as a community, and could potentially save a relationship, a decision, or a life.
