Congratulations on the launch. This looks like a great product but journalling is something that's done privately and contains a person's most private and intricate thoughts so I wouldn't trust any company with that data since it will be stored on a server. Offline-first apps like Obsidian and Logseq are my recommended apps for a digital journal.
@syedumaircodes yes, privacy is absolutely a critical concern and it is why all data is encrypted at rest (with secure keys handled by AWS KMS) and in transit at Jumble. However, there is always a tradeoff. If you do not trust any third party with you data, you miss out on the benefits of the latest technology provided at scale, as a service. LLMs, for example, have revolutionized the power of our personal data in terms of extracting insights and leveraging those towards growth. At Jumble we aim to balance the benefits of the latest technology with a secure architecture that protects customer data. Of course, Obisidian is a great option too if you just want to journal without the reflection and introspection tools provided at Jumble.

I journal in two different journals every single day. One is for myself, and the other is for my creativity. With some of the thoughts that have come out when it comes to creativity, this is such a good way to encapsulate how my mind works from a creative perspective. I made an account and the interface is so smooth. While I'm more of a handwritten person, and I still probably will be for my personal journal, this is probably going to become my new interface for creative journaling.

@tony_oreglia Hi Tony, "Jumble has made journaling an enlightening experience. The automated review and analysis feature is a time-saver, and the AI journaling therapist is a unique touch that sets it apart. The integration with reMarkable tablet is seamless, making it easy to journal by hand. If you're looking to delve deep into your personal journey, Jumble is the tool you need."
Hey there, congrats on launching Jumble Journal! This sounds like a super cool idea β a journaling tool that not only helps us record our thoughts but also analyzes them in an unbiased manner. It's like having your own personal historian and analyst rolled into one!
I'm curious about the βChat with your Journalβ feature. How does the chat bot handle complex emotions or thoughts that I might have jotted down in the past? And, can I interact with it in real-time?
I'm also intrigued by the AI journaling therapist feature. Could you elaborate more on how it works? Is it able to provide real therapeutic insights or is it more of a guided journaling tool?
One suggestion I have is regarding the reMarkable writing tablet integration. While it's definitely a unique feature, it might be beneficial to also consider compatibility with other popular note-taking apps or tools to cater to a wider audience.
Overall, Jumble Journal seems like an exciting and innovative tool for self-reflection and personal growth. Can't wait to see how it evolves!
@jeremybell Yes! As with most habits, it helps to do it at the same time each day by building it into a daily routine. For example, right after making coffee, or after finishing clean up after Dinner.
