A really interesting product that's hitting the market at a luggage revolution point. How do you plan on expanding the brand and allowing it to have its own voice alongside brands like AWAY snapping at your margins?

Came across July from a fellow business traveler who also felt the pain of never finding the ideal carry on - especially one that looks good and solves the handle height thing. Have had people comment on the design and color (mine is green). Looks and feels super strong but we’ll see how it handles our rugged Aussie airports but I’m super confident in the quality as the wheels (probably the biggest telling point) are probably the best of the more subtle features. One of the better purchases this year! Oh and the charger is a true lifesaver -even for laptops! One last thing, no more annoying hum and grind when wheeling around As these wheels are to luggage what a silencer is to a pistol.

Pros:

super silent wheels!! Unique design and colour range. Handle adjusts to any height. Unbreakable. chraged MacBook easily

Cons:

Only carry on available at the moment which sucks for those who just have to match their carry on to their suitcases (me!)

@elbahnasy Thanks Iz! We’re pretty excited to be launching July with the world. We started July as an antidote to overpriced and cheaply made luggage, and the poor customer experience around it. Most products in the travel industry are made cheap, rely heavily on third party distributors and retailers, and no one wants to talk to the end consumer - not the brand, not the manufacturer, not the retailer. July changes that. We spoke to a heap of frequent travellers and seen where the market is going (and where it had failed). From this we designed a gorgeous carry-on case from the wheels up! During the design process in Melbourne we involved the partner factory from Day 1 to better understand the complexity around creating something new. We have essentially re-created new parts for every single item on the case; nothing is off the shelf. This meant we needed to create new moulds and re-tool the factory to produce exactly what we needed. This had increased our development time significantly but the end result is that we have a beautiful carry-on case that we fully own the design IP on, and is made specifically to our requirements. The result: a gorgeous piece of travel hardware. 100% new German polycarbonate case (nothing recycled here!) that is then reinforced with anodised aluminium corners (feedback was corners on a lot of cases get bent in a lot!). We designed a telescopic handle that has over 25 different heights, so no matter how tall you are or what shoes you’re wearing, it’s always comfortable. We’ve also included an ejectable battery pack into the handle with USB-C that charge your MacBookPro fast; TSA approved and safe to fly. There’s so much more stuff we packed into July’s first case. From the bottom of our hearts in Melbourne we’d love to show Product Hunters (and the world) just what we can do hear from little ol’ Australia.

I can actually travel now with carry on and enjoy it. no more breaking my arm with a giant bag or trying to log my carry on around with two wheels that love to break

Gorgeous Design

Charging within the bag! I don't need to fight for a spot at the charging station anymore!!

I’m always travelling for work and doing quick trips here and there. I never check my luggage because I like to be quick and get out of the airport as soon as possible, so this bag is perfect for me. It’s a great size and has awesome functionality. I also often take my luggage with me when I go to client meetings and fly out that day, so having a sexy looking back is also great!

Pros:

Works great. Looks great. Everything you want from your luggage.

Cons:

Can’t really think of any.
