JuicyMoney: Make your budget juicy again

I'm Riccardo. I budgeted with YNAB for many years and the method works. but you know what? The price has grown and grown over time, and it's time for a change. So I built JuicyMoney.

It does the parts I relied on:
- Assign money to categories month by month
- Watch Available roll over, cover overspending
- It syncs between multiple devices
- Let credit card spending move cash to a payment category so the statement is already funded.
- Reports show spending by category group, top categories, and a 12-month trend.

Two things I cared about more than feature count.

Leaving YNAB shouldn't cost you your history. Export your budget, upload the two CSVs, and accounts, categories, transactions, transfers and every month's assignments come across. Takes about two minutes. If you'd rather start clean, there's Fresh Start.

The YNAB import is a really thoughtful touch for switchers. One thing that would make this way more powerful for me: a shared household mode where my partner and I can both log purchases and see the same envelope balances update in real time. Budgeting together is the whole reason we tried envelope budgeting in the first place, and most apps treat it like an afterthought.
