Jotty is a modern web app for developers to save, organize and share code snippets, useful links and technical notes. Build faster with organized code snippets.
Looks great - the name and branding are nice.
Have you considered providing an open source version that can be self hosted? For me, I prefer to keep my code snippets on my devices for peace of mind, so self-hosted or some sort of local access is a must. I was using Snippet Box (https://github.com/pawelmalak/snippet-box) before, but it's been discontinued.
If you decide to go the open source/self-hosted route, you can still monetize the service by offering premium features with a subscription (look at Baserow and Standard Notes for examples). You would also be able to share Jotty at https://reddit.com/r/selfhosted, which could help bring more exposure.
Congrats on the launch, excited to see where you take Jotty from here!

I really love your suggestion, it’s definitely a great idea, and I can see how a self-hosted option would be valuable for many developers.
I’ll be adding it to the “Coming Soon” section of the landing page so everyone knows it’s on the roadmap.
Really appreciate your support, and I’m excited to share more updates soon!
By the way, the Chrome extension is already in progress and currently pending validation by Google.
