Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm excited to share JotDown with you today. This app was born from a personal struggle: having too many scattered thoughts from different areas of life constantly cluttering my mind. We've all been there - you're trying to focus but your brain keeps reminding you of that email you need to send, the groceries you need to buy, and that brilliant app idea you had in the shower. The mental load is exhausting. What makes JotDown different: 1️⃣ It separates thought capture from task management - quickly dump all your thoughts onto the board, then organize them later 2️⃣ It automatically cleans itself - the thought board refreshes daily, and tasks disappear after a week unless you set a deadline 3️⃣ Smart recurring tasks - mark "take vitamins" as done and it reappears tomorrow automatically I built this because every other task app I tried became a graveyard of hundreds of stale tasks.
