We built it as a browser extension so it’s always there when you need a laugh — and we’ve partnered with over 15,000 stores so that everyday shopping can help people in need.
Here’s how it works: You search and get a laugh. Then, when you shop at any of our 15,000+ partner stores, JokeTab quietly pops up at checkout so you can choose a charity. If you purchase something, the store pays us a commission, and we donate that commission to the charity you selected. We think it is a pretty clever way to turn the shopping that everyone does anyways… into donations for worthwhile causes.
A bit of my backstory: I was lucky enough to Co-found Tripadvisor and lead it for 22 years. When I stepped away, I knew I wanted my next chapter to give back in a big way — which led me to start Give Freely and launch JokeTab.

Just a blast to use. I've had it on my browser for a few weeks now, and enjoy the jokes. Not laugh out loud type jokes, but always brought a smile to my face. The thing i liked the best about it is that I didn't have to go off to find the joke, the joke came to me in the search results.
