I built JoinUp because I kept missing great professional events. Not because there weren’t enough platforms, but because I found out about them too late or after they’d already happened. Most events are shared through scattered links in groups, communities, or social media, and it’s hard to keep track of everything. JoinUp is our attempt to fix that by making event discovery profession-first. You choose your profession, choose the type of event and see what’s happening without noise or guesswork. We’re starting with events for Designers, Developers, and Founders, and focusing on events worth showing up for.
