joe'y: The world's first true coffee alternative

Hey all! I'm Brendan, one of the cofounders of joe'y. I met Amanda, my cofounder, when we were college track & field teammates back in the day. Years later (and many corporate jobs), we both found ourselves hooked on coffee. Ironically, we didn't mind it. It tastes good, helps us focus, etc. No complaints. But as it turns out, both of us have heart conditions that make drinking a ton of coffee a bad idea. Eventually, we were both told we had to quit coffee, so we decided to create something better. It took a year of traveling between LA and NY (our home cities), testing recipes until 4AM, and finding the right suppliers for every ingredient, but we finally did it. joe'y combines everything we've ever wanted in a coffee alternative, for the first time. It's batch roasted, so it tastes delicious and reminiscent of a coffee. It has 1/5 the caffeine in a coffee (+ theobromine & l-theanine) so you get a more sustained boost without the crash.
