Most AI tools praise every answer. JobOneQ doesn't. Upload your resume + job posting. The AI asks follow-up questions based on your real experience, then scores each answer with STAR analysis — showing exactly what's missing and how to fix it. Track your progress from D to A across sessions. Free daily practice. No API key needed.

Hi! I built JobOneQ after failing 3 interviews in a row — not because I lacked
experience, but because I couldn't structure my answers well enough under
pressure.
The problem was simple: there's no way to get honest feedback when you practice
alone. I tried ChatGPT, but it praised everything. Coaching was $150/session.
Study groups fell apart after week one.
So I started building an AI interviewer that actually reads your resume, asks
follow-up questions about your real projects, and scores answers strictly using
the STAR method. A vague one-liner gets 35 points, not 85.
The biggest shift during development was making the AI harsher, not nicer.
Early testers said the generous scoring felt useless — they wanted to know what
was actually wrong. So I rewrote the evaluation prompts to be brutally
specific: "Your Action was concrete, but Situation and Result are completely
missing."
That's when things clicked. I used it myself to prep for my next interview —
practiced until my grade went from D to A — and got the offer. That moment
convinced me this needed to be a real product.
