Job Lobster is your personal AI agent for the whole job hunt. Tell it what you're after and it finds real, matched jobs, tailors your résumé to each one, and preps you for the interview — it'll even apply on your behalf, but never without your OK. The agent does the soul-crushing grind; you just show up and earn the offer. Try it free, no login required.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Adam, the maker. I built Job Lobster because the modern job hunt is a grind designed to waste your time: doomscrolling boards, tailoring résumés at midnight, re-typing your work history into the same ATS forms — often for jobs that were never a real fit.
Job Lobster is an AI job-search agent that does the grunt work — carefully:
🦞 Hunts every day — pulling live postings straight from company career sites and ATSs (Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever…)
🎯 Scores every job against YOUR résumé — real fit analysis (skills, seniority, location eligibility), not keyword bingo
📝 Preps the application — tailored résumé + cover letter, and it asks YOU when it hits a gap instead of making things up
✅ You stay in control — everything lands in a Review & Send queue. Nothing is submitted without your approval. Auto-submit exists, but it's strictly opt-in.
What it won't do: spray 500 applications into the void. Recruiters hate spam tools as much as candidates do — quality over volume is the whole point.
We first launched a much smaller version in April. Since then we've shipped the autonomous agent, application prep with human review, live voice interview practice, and free tools you can use without signing up (Resume Checker, Find Jobs For Me) at joblobster.ai.
If you're job hunting right now, I'd genuinely love your feedback: what's the most soul-crushing part of your search? I'll be here all day. 🦞

The auto-apply feature sounds amazing but I'd love a salary range filter upfront since that's usually a dealbreaker for me before tailoring anything else.
The "no login required" detail is genuinely refreshing, so many tools lock you behind a signup wall before showing anything useful. Letting the agent actually apply only with explicit approval also shows real thought about trust.

the applying on my behalf part is honestly what hooked me but i'd love to see a quick dashboard showing where every application stands, like viewed by recruiter, interview stage, ghosted, etc. basically a pipeline view so i know what the lobster is actually doing out there

love the no-login approach, makes trying it out so painless. one thing i'd find really helpful is a quick "why this job?" snapshot next to each match, like a couple of bullet points showing which of my skills or experience lines up with the role, so i can decide faster whether to let the agent apply or skip it.

Would love to see a tracker view showing every application the agent has submitted on your behalf, with status updates when you hear back. Right now it's hard to remember what went out where, especially if the tool is applying to multiple roles a day.

This looks promising! I am typically very frustrated by the process of applying for jobs. Preparing a good application can easily take an hour or two of my time. If this really helps me save time and find good jobs, I’m using it!

@muharremkaovsj Great feedback, will add it in!
