This VS Code motion extension lets you jump to anywhere in the visible editor using the first 2 characters of where you want to jump to followed by the generated labels. Named after the JMP assembly instruction and inspired by leap.nvim and similar projects.

As a Software Engineer obsessed with building things, I really hated moving my hand away from the keyboard when im coding just to use my mouse to click to a new cursor location. When I spent a few months using neovim, I fell in love with the leap.nvim plugin which allows me to jump to any part of my visible editor with just a few key strokes. So when I went back to VS Code (not gonna open a can of worms to explain why here haha), I really wanted something with the same experience. I tried a bunch of similar extensions like easymotion but all were not satisfactory which is why I decided to make my own! Let me know what you think and would love to connect with fellow developers!
