Greetings everyone! 👋

I've always loved diving into stories and stepping into other worlds—whether through books, movies, or games. And when AI came along, I started exploring roleplaying with it. The first five minutes were amazing, but soon the honeymoon was over: lack of consistency, non-optimal UX, hard to set up different worlds or scenarios, etc.

So, I started looking for apps that would deliver what I was looking for. Turns out the solutions were often too niche, overly focused on character development, or just felt like a chatbot conversation, not truly living a story.

While character work is great, I wanted the freedom to explore entire worlds. I'm talking about befriending dragons one day, and the next, actually being the smart one who doesn't get caught first in a horror story.

The desire for unconstrained, story-driven roleplaying is exactly why I built Jaquelene. My goal was a platform where anyone could easily roleplay any character, in any scenario, with no need to learn a complex system and experience the magic that roleplaying is.

And all the above brings us to the current day: ✨ the launch of Jaquelene ✨

Now, why Jaquelene?

• Ease of use. You can start roleplaying in like, 5 minutes?

• Optimal, immersive UX. It's a roleplaying experience, not a chat.

• Accessible. Jaquelene is meant for both for beginners and veteran roleplayers.

• Characters & Worlds. Not just characters, not just worlds. Both. Don't let the what if? question curse you anymore.

• High quality narration. Every scene is narrated by flagship LLMs.

And this is just the beginning.

As to what's next, here's what I'll be working on:

• Better pricing for everyone. Really, when I started this I never imagined pricing on the top of AI would be this difficult. But I've got some tricks under my sleeve and soon™ pricing will suit everyone.

• More outputs. Think of image generation, audio, videos, etc.

• More control. I want to expand the tools you have to craft your own worlds and characters.

• Customizable UI. To achieve truly immersive roleplaying, the UI has to adapt to the mood of the story.

• Multiplayer. Think 5 friends together to venture into any world rendered by an AI. Yes.

OMG, this is so cool! I've been wanting something like this forever – the ability to easily switch between different genres and scenarios is truely awesome. No more getting stuck in one type of roleplay! That's kinda genius imo. So, how customizable are the pre-made scenarios? Can I, like, tweak them to fit my own weird ideas?
