Japanese System automatically tracks your Japanese study across supported websites and turns it into meaningful progress insights. Instead of manually timing sessions, you get streaks, immersion hours, consistency heatmaps, milestones, achievements, and detailed analytics all stored locally in your browser. It's built for learners who want to understand where their time goes and stay motivated over months and years, not just days.
👋 Hi Everyone!
I'm Shreyansh, the maker of Japanese System.
One thing always bothered me while learning Japanese: I never really knew how much I was studying. I used WaniKani, Bunpro, YouTube, reading sites, immersion tools, and other resources, but my study time was scattered everywhere.
I wanted something that would quietly track my learning without requiring timers or manual logging.
So I built a Japanese System.
It automatically tracks study sessions, visualises consistency with GitHub-style heatmaps, shows long-term milestones, streaks, and immersion insights—all while keeping your data stored locally in your browser.
This is the first public release, and I'd genuinely love feedback from learners, developers, and productivity enthusiasts.
If you try it, I'd really appreciate hearing:
• What feature helped you the most?
• What feels missing?
• What would make it part of your daily learning routine?
Thanks for checking it out! 🙌
