Built itshover because static icons felt boring. I wanted icons that respond with intent and feel alive in modern UIs.
It’s open source, lightweight, and I’ll be adding more icons regularly. Feedback is welcome.
Quick question about Its Hover — the product seems to treat hover not as a visual flourish, but as a core design language.
From a design perspective, what led you to center the experience around hover interactions instead of more explicit UI or copy? Was there a moment where this approach clearly resonated with users?
Asking because that choice feels both playful and deliberate in the first impression.

Nice animations! Super slick and perfectly subtle motion - Any recommendations for best use on mobile?

Who says you can't reinvent the wheel with style. Brilliant. Got a few projects I will be using these magnificent icons.
Really fun idea — animated icons that react to user intent are a nice touch! One thing I noticed: currently it looks like the set/usage might be limited — more documentation or examples of how to integrate in real UI workflows could help more developers adopt it. If you’re open to ideas on improving onboarding or dev docs, I’d be happy to share some idea's....!!
