ItemTraxx replaces spreadsheet chaos with one accountable place to manage gear and or items. Scan barcodes for fast checkouts and returns, see who has what, manage borrowers and item status, and review transaction history and audit logs. Designed for busy checkout desks—not just back-office reporting. It adds offline-safe workflows plus organization controls for schools, teams, and individual operators. Currently in closed beta; request a demo for access.
ItemTraxx started with a real problem in my high school broadcast class: gear kept going missing, and my teacher jokingly told me to build an app to track it. I took that seriously. The first prototype worked, but real-world use exposed rough edges, so I scrapped it and rebuilt it from the ground up and that became that is here today ItemTraxx.
Today it brings barcode checkout and returns, inventory status, borrower management, reporting, and audit history into one focused system. We’re launching in closed beta and would love feedback.

ItemTraxx isn't only for gear. Literally anything that has a barcode can be tracked with ItemTraxx.
How do you track shared gear/items today, and where does that process break down?

Love the offline-first angle for busy desks. One thing that would make it even better for our team: native integration with Google or Microsoft calendars so item returns automatically sync as events with reminders for borrowers. Would cut down on the "I forgot to return it" texts we get constantly.
