ItemTraxx started with a real problem in my high school broadcast class: gear kept going missing, and my teacher jokingly told me to build an app to track it. I took that seriously. The first prototype worked, but real-world use exposed rough edges, so I scrapped it and rebuilt it from the ground up and that became that is here today ItemTraxx. Love the offline-first angle for busy desks. One thing that would make it even better for our team: native integration with Google or Microsoft calendars so item returns automatically sync as events with reminders for borrowers.
