Hi Product Hunt! If you run a server, you know the feeling: the auth log fills up with the same addresses hammering SSH and login pages, and checking each one by hand is slow. That's why we built isIPsafe.
It's a free, community-run database of IP addresses caught attacking servers. Paste any IP and you get:
an abuse score from 0 to 100, built from independent reporters, so one noisy source can't list an address on its own
what it was reported for (SSH brute force, port scans, web attacks) and when
the network that owns it, and whether its whole range is on lists like Spamhaus DROP
It's also built for automation: a free blocklist for your firewall (plain text, CSV, JSON, STIX or ready-made rules), an AbuseIPDB-compatible API with 10,000 free lookups a day, a log analyzer, and an MCP server so you can ask Claude or Cursor "is this IP safe?" in the middle of an investigation. You can try a lookup without an account.
We'd love your feedback: which integration should we build next, and what would make you trust a reputation score more?
