An IRORUN protects gender-based violence survivors by concealing a secure evidence vault behind a fully functional calculator. Survivors can log photos, notes, and medical records safely, then send structured case files directly to verified NGOs without leaving a trace on their device. Application built with Google AI Studio.
Hey Product Hunt community! 👋
I’m Khadijat, the Co-maker behind IRORUN.
The Problem: In many parts of the world, including Nigeria, survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) lose their chance at justice because keeping digital evidence like photos of injuries or pictures of medical reports on their phone is far too dangerous if an abuser has access and checks their device.
The Solution: We built IRORUN to bridge the gap between silent survival and secure justice.
The Calculator Disguise: To anyone casually looking at the phone, it is a fully working calculator.
The Hidden Vault: A discreet trigger unlocks a private vault where a victim can save notes, and photo evidence over time.
Direct NGO Routing: When safe, the survivor can route a structured, timestamped case file directly to any verified response organizations (like WARIF or DSVA), bypassing chaotic WhatsApp threads.
Why we are on Product Hunt today: Technology cannot solve violence on its own, but a trauma-informed software can protect the truth. We built this during DoraDAO hackathon, and we are looking for the Product Hunt community to help us stress-test the UI, review our safety flows, and share feedback on how we can make this tool safer and more impactful.
I’ll be here all day answering questions and taking feedback. Let me know what you think! 💙
