👋 Hi hunters! Happy to share a bit about why I built IPChecks.
After 30+ years working in IT, I got tired of how the "simple" IP and network tools we reach for every day have drifted — sign-ups, cookie walls, ad clutter, and servers that log every query you make. So I built the opposite: a single clean page where your public IP shows up instantly, and every check runs right in your browser. No account, no tracking, no limits.
It grew into a full suite — DNS, WHOIS, IP location, HTTP headers, a WebRTC leak test, blacklist check, plus a subnet calculator, IPv6 expander, and reverse DNS. The unexpected hit has been the WebRTC leak test: a surprising number of people discover their "VPN" has been quietly leaking their real IP.
It's open-source (github.com/aren2connect/ipchecks) and bilingual (English/Nederlands). What should I add next — a traceroute, an email header analyzer, or a public API? 🚀
