When you send a Shopify invoice or quote, the stock stays sellable until the customer pays, and it can sell out in the meantime. Invoice Hold reserves those units in 2 clicks with an expiry date, then releases them automatically if the invoice isn’t paid.

I’m Selim, a FullStack and Shopify developer. Working with wholesale and B2B merchants, I kept seeing the same painful scenario:
A merchant sends a quote or invoice from a draft order. While the customer takes a few days to pay, the storefront keeps selling those exact units. The customer finally pays… and the stock is gone. Cue awkward emails, refunds and lost trust.
Shopify doesn’t reserve inventory for draft orders, so I built Invoice Hold:

🔒 The units are reserved: the storefront can’t sell them
