Hey everyone! Paul here, cofounder of InviteJet. In 2019, I launched a Kickstarter campaign for my e-commerce company, Mosi Tea. It's super important to get a fast start on Kickstarter... so I had my email and sms campaigns ready, but knew I was at the mercy of WHEN people would open them. So days before the campaign launched, I manually sent out thousands and thousands of calendar invites to my list for the exact time the campaign launched. Fast forward, we hit our goal in less than 5 hours and went on to raise over $500k (still a top 0.5% campaign to this day), and the calendar invites were the reason we were able to get people to our campaign so quickly. The idea of "time-based" marketing stuck with me for years, and then I finally found my cofounder Brian to help me build exactly what I envisioned. After 3 months, InviteJet has sent over 5 million invites, and seeing open rates, click through rates, and conversion rates that are higher than email. We're helping brands engage and convert customers in a new way. And it's crazy effective. The beauty of calendar invites is that they are technically emails... so if you have consent from a customer for marketing purposes, you can send them invites. Calendar invites also aren't considered promotional, so they skip the promotions tab, leading to higher open rates, and therefor other metrics. We see this as supplemental to a brands multi-channel marketing strategy.
